Develop, launch and manage a portfolio of asset and liability and other retail micro banking products in accordance with targets set forth in the Business Plan (BP)
In charge of Business Plans i.e., budgeting, business plans, forecasting etc. and continuous improvement of offered products.
Attain targeted Sales & Profit Levels to maximize value of Business Banking clients’ portfolio and clients’ satisfaction.
Develop new markets and segments to enhance sales and market share
Coordinate with marketing team to plan and implement marketing plans, campaigns etc.
Work with other departments to identify evolving Business Banking Product needs and maintain sales efficiency of all Business Banking Products.
Research & Development
Coordinate with market research from time to time to ascertain changes in the market place due to competition, economic conditions, political situation and other factors affecting microfinance industry.
Build and manage suite of dedicated & standardized Business Banking products tailored to local needs.
Responsible for expansion of Product Programs Structure, Product Programs for Business Banking and lending business and take credit approvals.
Responsible for developing and monitoring of Business Banking Strategy
To develop SLA framework and lead negotiations between Business Banking and other heads (Operation, Risk, Channels, Branches, and Legal).Defining Business Banking requirements and fill gaps.
Remain abreast of new developments in financial services distribution strategies particularly development of new channels i.e. cell phones, simpler and more efficient ATMs, third party arrangements with other retail outlets and conduct feasibility for using them to the Bank’s advantage
Provide leadership to the Retail Banking Network in marketing core banking products i.e. saving, loans, remittances and others through respective Business Managers.
Periodic visits to Branches, Regional Offices, and meetings with Regional Managers, Branch Managers, and all branch staff.
Develop an excellent understanding of the Business Banking market locally, identifying key trends, and regulations.
Develop a curriculum for training of Branch Managers for their banking training in line with ongoing expansion and network.
Responsible to be update about clients’ need and the activities of competitors, further use this knowledge to formulate strategy and react quickly to changes in the market.
Proactively transfer market knowledge to staff and other teams to feed into service and product development.
Present “Credit Report Formats” that comply with State Bank of Pakistan’s regulatory Requirements.
Prepare analytical reports and share with accordingly as and when required.
