- Assessing the market potential for GL & GOLD loan products and devising strategies to enhance the sales volume
- To obtain the market share of GL & GOLD loans and proposing strategies for better positioning of Bank’s products
- Monitoring daily sales results and assisting field team in the implementation of sales enhancement strategies
- Sales Target Planning, Achievement and monitoring Sales Performance.
- To rationalize the portfolio at branch, region/area levels keeping in view the area potential
- Assessing competitor’s value proposition and making appropriate recommendations for amendments to the Bank’s existing product lines
- To provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term sales forecasts and analytical reporting, answering questions and requests.
- To assess product’s knowledge of field based teams and coordinating with Training Department for knowledge improvement
- Making field visits by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
- Regularly coordinate with Operations, Internal Audit, Risk and Human Resources to ensure alignment of goals and continuous improvement of processes, policies & human capital.
- Monitor individual branch performance through their KPIs and sharing of information with branch managers & provide guidelines for achieving goals. Also, demonstrate a culture of accountability for non-performers.
- To develop current resources demand across the network and identify future resources for development in coordination with line management.
- To oversee the portfolio quality of GL & GOLD loans and devising appropriate strategies to improve the quality of portfolio
- Monitoring and management of all sales and marketing campaigns, advertising and promotions, to ensure accuracy and consistency of image, presentation and message.
- To coordinate with Product Development Department for enhancement of product’s features and exploring new avenues for product development
- To coordinate with System & Operations Department for building system controls and defining processes for GL & GOLD sales
- To derive new product launches in coordination with Product Development team
- To act as a focal person for field teams to create awareness and understanding about the GL & GOLD products
- Proven ability to manage large sales team and results achievement through team work
- Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Multi-tasking to ensure deadline are met.
- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
- Proven working experience in GL & GOLD sales and management.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to travel extensively
