Branchless Banking Department, Lahore

  • Develop, implement & review operational policies and procedures for all branchless banking products and services including lending, deposits, account opening, clearing, currency & cash management, remittances, online banking and other banking services.
  • Design and implement controls in branchless banking processes & systems to ensure compliance with the regulatory and legal framework
  • Ensure alignment of branchless banking policies and procedures with the core banking policies and procedures and applications.
  • Liaise with Head of Systems and Ops with respect to operational matters, payment solutions and licensing issues w.r.t to Branchless Bank
  • Ensure accuracy of MIS on the branchless banking system in order to provide timely support to all operational areas of branchless banking department and the bank and onwards reporting to State Bank of Pakistan
  • Provide operational support to the Branchless Banking business by looking after all back-end operations including, but not limited to, customer experience, complaints reporting and handling, verification of accounts, ensuring accounts documentation as per policy and procedures, checks for AML and CFT, cards order management and call center
  • Ensure availability of full Operational support for internal and external customers of Branchless Banking as per agreed hours of service
  • Ensure policies and procedures are documented and undertake process re-engineering initiatives whenever the need is identified
  • Give go-live decision to the Head of Branchless Banking for new product and channel launches, after ensuring all applicable processes have been followed and UAT has been concluded to satisfaction with thoroughness
  • Liaise with all other departments within Branchless Banking and key stakeholders within the Bank in developing various policy & procedures/ systems to meet the objectives of the organization.
  • Be the owner of all systems & procedures for Branchless Banking including the operational performance of all applications, platforms, and systems of Branchless Banking
  • Support the Bank’s BCM to develop a Business Continuity Plan for Branchless Banking, ensure its review at regular intervals as per policy and make sure its test drill at least once a year.  
  • Faithfully discharge obligations as a member of any committee (if appointed).
  • Any other responsibility assigned by Head of Branchless Banking.
