Reporting To: Head of IT  

Department: Information Technology  


  • Position IS as in enable and business partner in the achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Play and lead role in bringing about efficiencies in business process through attention.
  • Improve customer experience through the implementation of alternate delivery channels.
  • Leverage infrastructure and platform to introduce new products and services in a cost-effective manner.
  • To develop and align IS strategy & plans with FINCA bank’s objectives.
  • Refinement and implementation of IS policies & procedures as per internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor information security protocol to ensure the security of the bank’s data, system and network.
  • Incorporation of new products services process and other changes in core banking solution (PLUS) while managing technical aspects of the process through the vendor.
  • Ensure all aspects of IT infrastructure/data center (network, systems, applications, ATMs) are well maintained and available for business.
  • Ensure back up of critical systems are in place, DR plans are up-to-date and DR exercises are conducted regularly.
  • Provision of support services to all IT users of the whole network.
  • Provide technical recommendations on IT equipment/solutions/vendor for procurement purposes and when needed.
  • Oversee IT set up of new locations and upgrade of existing locations as per the bank’s plan.
  • Explore technology-based solution/services & service provider in view of business strategy. And provide recommendations along with cost benefits to MB.
  • Manage the implementation of approved projects in coordination with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Reassess efficiency of existing SOPs, service level agreements annually with the purpose of value for money & improving projects.
